Wifie traded in her 2006 Honda Accord VTi Special Addition with only 62K on the speedo for a 2009 Alfa Romeo 147 Selespeed with only 6500k (X demo car).

It's a 2L, 5 speed semi auto with paddle shifts behind the steering wheel and what a fun car it is to drive.

I was so impressed with the small tablet that I went out and bought an 10" Asus Transformer tablet with an attachable keyboard.

 What a brilliant device. Just remove it from the docking/keyboard and it's ready to use anywhere you want. It does connect to the internet but only by Wi-Fi so that can limit it to how far you can go while staying connected.

 The O/S is the Android 3.2 Honeycombe and once you have used it a few time, it's easy to use and it's fun downloading different apps for it plus you can also download ebooks as well.

Just bought an 8" Android 2.2 tablet to try out. Fun little thing that can be used via wi-fi to go on line but unfortunately Skype doesn't work on it, which is a bummer.

Works well as an Ebook reader as well. Plenty of free books to download.

Might upgrade to a 2.3 Android one a little later on as it does allow Skype to work.

 It's stories like this that make me sit back and realise just how lucky I am to reach my age of 62.

 Also just found out a friend of mine died last month at 58 yo.

Thought to myself, what should I try in 2012 that I have not done before?
